Telecommunications Museum in the second floor of the Telefónica Building in the Gran Vía of Madrid

¿How should be telecommunications displayed? This project bottles them in a series of systems of glass urns that are arranged both in horizontal and vertical. A blue cobalt velvet case wraps it all. 

The urns-tubes are the display resort of 6000 metres of cables, reactive projections, digital art prototypes and objects from the Telefónica collection.

The case is materialized through a curtain that dissolves the geometry of the place and a fitted carpet of the same colour covering the floor. The system of urns, hanged on stainless steel cables, consists of a meccano of borosilicate tubes used in the pharmaceutical and petrochemical industry.

Museo de las Telecomunicaciones en la segunda planta del Edificio de Telefónica en la Gran Vía de Madrid

¿Como se exhiben las telecomunicaciones? Este proyecto las envasa en una serie de sistemas de urnas de vidrio que discurren en horizontal y en vertical. Y las envuelve en un estuche de terciopelo azul cobalto.

Las urnas-tubos son el recurso expositivo de  6000 metros de cables, proyecciones reactivas, prototipos de arte digital y objetos de la colección.

El estuche se materializa mediante un telón que disuelve la geometría del local y un pavimento enmoquetado del mismo color. El sistema de urnas, suspendido por cables de acero, consiste en un mecano de tubos de borosilicato que se utiliza para la industria farmacéutica y petroquímica.
